Paul Binette

Paul graduated from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy (VCMT) in August 2023 with Clinical Distinction. A former competitive strength athlete, he placed 2nd in the Heavyweight division at Alberta’s Strongest Man (2013) and won 1st in the Lightweight division in 2014. His firsthand experience with high-impact injuries—including fractures, muscle tears, crush injuries, and chronic pain—shapes his deeply informed, client-centered approach to rehabilitation.
Paul specializes in trigger point therapy, myofascial release (MFR), Swedish massage, joint mobilizations, and manual spinal decompression using breath-guided traction. He takes a distinctive approach to certain types of back pain by addressing the biomechanical triad of the psoas, iliacus, and diaphragm, and is skilled at resolving referred pain patterns that often appear unrelated to the primary complaint.
Outside of practice, Paul continues to train for strength, stays current with research in performance and recovery, and is actively developing his knowledge in data science—a discipline that fuels his interest in precision, systems thinking, and evidence-based decision-making.

Giancarlo Brancati
Giancarlo graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2015 with a Master of Physical Therapy after completing his Bachelor of Kinesiology in 2009. He has completed certifications in manual therapy, vestibular and concussion rehabilitation, TMJ/TMD, acupuncture and IMS. Giancarlo has experience in variety of settings such as orthopedics, pre/post surgical care, neurological rehabilitation, and elite athletics/sport.
Giancarlo believes that movement is key to our overall well-being and longevity. That is why he is passionate about helping clients return to their activities whether it be sports, work, or your daily routine. He is a firm believer in continuing education to deliver evidence-based treatment, as well as giving back to the community via volunteering at local sporting events and mentoring UBC Physiotherapy students.

Sam Brimacombe
Sam grew up in Burnaby playing hockey, baseball and running track. As an accident-prone teen, he became very familiar with physiotherapy, which inspired a life-long fascination with exercise rehab.
Sam graduated from SFU with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Physiology, gaining experience in rehabilitation of sports injuries. He further developed his experience as a therapist by providing gymnastics-based and aqua therapy for children with neurodevelopmental disorders, in which he found a passion for pediatric physiotherapy.
Sam completed his Master of Science in Physiotherapy in the United Kingdom and is currently going through the process of certifying as a Physiotherapist in Canada. Sam is excited about teaching exercise to recover from an injury and wants to help you restore your natural, pain-free, and efficient movement.

Marcia Graham
Marcia is a Registered Massage Therapist who is passionate about health and wellness and enjoys working with clients on their rehabilitation journey. Her massage therapy internship includes working at Stan Cassidy Centre of Rehabilitation, in Fredericton New Brunswick and the University of New Brunswick Athletics (UNB REDS).
Marcia has resided in Vancouver for almost a decade. She briefly moved to New Brunswick to experience the east coast and to focus on her massage therapy education. Rucha has over 14 years of experience having practiced as a Physiotherapist in India, UK, and Canada. Edson Lizarazo Registered Physiotherapist
Edson has been a physiotherapist for over 27 years, he immigrated to Canada in 2002. He completed his Bachelors of Physiotherapy in his home country of Colombia in 1995, followed by a Masters in Physiotherapy in Critical Care in 2002.
In Colombia, his work experience was mainly with a neuro-pediatric population and complex trauma rehabilitation associated with war injuries in a Military hospital in Bogota. Since 2008, Edson has been working part time for the surgical team at VGH (in the rehabilitation of bone marrow, solid organ, lung transplants, plastic surgery, urology and gynecology procedures), and part time with musculoskeletal and sports injuries in a private practice. Always interested in furthering his knowledge, he studied Manual Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation at Curtin University in Perth, Australia in 2011. In 2014, he completed 2 more years of university level courses to have a Master’s-equivalent in Physiotherapy in the United States. Currently Edson is working towards a certification in hand therapy.
Edson has been certified as a medical classifier for Para-rowing Canada and is a certified member of the dry needling / Intramuscular stimulation (IMS) roster with the College of physiotherapists of British Columbia. Edson also has extensive experience with treatment of TMJ dysfunction and Vertigo. His education and vast experience provide him with the ability to assess, analyze and accurately diagnose musculoskeletal injuries and design an effective rehabilitation plan.

Trent Lofthouse
Dr. Trent Lofthouse’s journey into helping others began after sustaining multiple concussions during his semi-professional hockey career—injuries that ultimately ended his time on the ice. His long search for answers, after trying countless treatments and seeing numerous practitioners, helped him distinguish what doesn’t work from what truly leads to recovery.
After graduating, he spent several years practicing in Australia, working closely with rugby players experiencing chronic post-concussive symptoms and applying the techniques he refined through his own recovery. He now brings that firsthand insight to his patients, offering clarity, confidence, and a straightforward, results-driven approach to care.
He holds a Bachelor of Psychology and completed his Bachelor of Chiropractic at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic. His clinical practice focuses on concussion management, neurophysiological rehabilitation, and cranial movement therapy.

Pooja holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioural Neuroscience from Simon Fraser University and a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Oxford Brookes University. As a client-centered therapist, Pooja specializes in working with individuals diagnosed with concussions and vestibular injuries. Dr. Andrea Watson
With over five years of clinical experience and a strong foundation in both sports medicine and women’s health, Dr. Andrea Watson offers a personalized, integrative approach to chiropractic care, blending gentle manual techniques, soft tissue therapy, and movement-based rehab. Known for creating a calm, supportive environment, Dr. Watson helps patients feel seen, heard, and empowered, whether they’re navigating pregnancy or postpartum recovery, returning to activity after injury, managing everyday tension, or looking to stay active and strong as they age.
Dr. Watson’s path into chiropractic began with a love of sports and a fascination with the human body. While earning her BA (Honours) in Kinesiology from Western University, specializing in Rehabilitation Sciences and Sports Medicine, she worked as the on-field therapist for the varsity women’s field hockey team. Drawn to chiropractic for its hands-on approach and the opportunity to truly listen and support patients, she went on to complete her Doctor of Chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where she developed a strong clinical interest in pregnancy and postpartum care, which has since become a key focus of her practice.
