Sam grew up in Burnaby playing hockey, baseball and running track. As an accident-prone teen, he became very familiar with physiotherapy, which inspired a life-long fascination with exercise rehab.
Sam graduated from SFU with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Physiology, gaining experience in rehabilitation of sports injuries. He further developed his experience as a therapist by providing gymnastics-based and aqua therapy for children with neurodevelopmental disorders, in which he found a passion for pediatric physiotherapy.
Sam completed his Master of Science in Physiotherapy in the United Kingdom and is currently going through the process of certifying as a Physiotherapist in Canada. Sam is excited about teaching exercise to recover from an injury and wants to help you restore your natural, pain-free, and efficient movement.
You’ll probably run into Sam desperately clutching a cup of coffee or reading. In his free time, you might find him running trails in the forest, bouldering at the gym or skiing in the mountains. Sam enjoys escaping into the woods for extended hiking and camping trips – but good luck finding him out there!
